Sometimes I feel this need to stress that though I believe in God and consider myself a disciple of Christ and a believer, I am also very aware of the work I need to do to strip my faith of all it’s colonial, western supremacist connotations and associations.
I am very aware that my faith is a personal thing and not something to forced down someone else’s throat. My faith is MY faith and it is better walked out even if I walk crookedly and I limp presently but I must learn to walk upright and in love and grace.
