I made this beat by sampling “let the groove get in” by Justin Timberlake. I made it in the afrodance/afrobeats style that is big right now only to find out that Timbaland sampled a track from Burkina Faso in West Africa to make it so it all makes sense to me, I was wondering why I was getting that vibe from the track.

So this is an unreleased demo that I did with my partner in rhyme from Florida and sadly it was never released. Folashade’s real name is Melissa Green and she is American not Nigerian but she visited Nigeria once and someone gave her a Yoruba name: Folashade which means “one who wears wealth as a crown” she liked it so much that she stared using it as her stage name.

I love some electro dance house type music. I don’t care what anyone says, euro pop is cool and Americans seem to not know that detroit techno kinda started stuff that guys like Chris Brown, Pitbull and Rihanna are putting in their music today.
So one of the remixes to my new single “More Than Just Music” has an electro dance house sound, listen to it above. I like this type of stuff, I can’t even front! hahaha!
